Friday Night Lights…

So after all the hoopla, Mr. McCain is ready for the debate…

Unfortunately, so is the KKK

Wow…this should be interesting…

As a young black man from New York City…the klan doesnt scare me one bit because

a) I’ve never seen them

b) I could probably fuck 1-2 of them up real bad…

c) They would never dare step foot in NYC in this day and age knowing the violent repercussions …

However, this debate is not in NYC, its in Mississippi…and out there?

Shit is real…

Not in terms of violence per se, but more in regards to influence…

With the recent AP-Yahoo News Poll, revealing that many whites are still hesitant to vote for Obama solely because of his race, tonight’s debate, and the two that will follow, are more important than ever…

You see in my opinion, I feel that there are many middle class whites who agree with everything Obama stands for…from his tax plans to his desire for change…but just cannot fathom themselves walking into that booth, clicking Dem, and pulling that lever…

So the question is, will these middle class, working class, white Americans essentially cut their nose to spite their face?

Or can the Obama campaign prove to them that John McCain does not represent them and their needs?

His first real opportunity begins tonight…

While individual speeches and fear-mongering ads are one thing…to have both candidates side by side debating the future of our nation makes the election that much more tangible…

Lets see if Obama can win a few voters over…

Stay tuned for the recap later this weekend…

Delay the debates???

You crazy old fuck…hell no!!!

Now is the best time to have them…not after the bailout when shit is nice and smooth…so you can have Palin come out and flash the audience some nipple and get them distracted…

Sorry buddy…Friday it is…

But don’t worry John…in the eyes of all the racist, ignorant, inbred Americans out there…your still their hero and best choice for the job!!!

Get Ready For a Fight….

The real deal folks…

No more statements pre-written by advisers…

One on one…mano y mano…

Be sure to catch the first of 3 debates between the Presidential candidates this Friday, September 26, live from the University of Mississippi….

We are guaranteed to laugh, cry, and probably vomit a little in our mouths when McCain answers any questions on taxes or the economy!!!

I wouldn’t expect anything less…

After all, this is my America

On a Sunday Morning Nonetheless…

“It was two days after the he said the fundamentals of the economy were strong. His talking points have gotten all mixed up. And I think the question of age is back on the table.” – Sam Donaldson

Seems fitting, what a better way to start the week than for Sam Donaldson and friends to rip into John McCain on The Roundtable…

This is great…

The type of shit that people who support McCain WONT watch!!!

This is definitely the time for Obama to pounce on these bloodsuckers and never look back…

If the Democratic Party plays their cards right they can really capitalize on McCain’s lack of economic knowledge and empathy…

I sense the gap widens in the polls and Obama really starts to appeal to working class middle America…

They may be racist, but lets see if they will cut their nose to spite their face…

Pop Goes The Weasel…

Well well well the GOP tide looks like its about to turn…

For the first time in 2 weeks Obama leads McCain 48% to 44%…

I am going to go out on a limb here and attribute this to the economic woes felt round the world this week…

With a large portion of America struggling financially, its hard for people to give a shit about how much of an American hero John McCain was or what bridge Palin signed off on…

All that shit is irrelevant…and it looks like the Sarah Palin bubble has popped!!!

They got her to be a distraction, but with McSame’s gag this week about our “fundamentally sound” economy, some semi-hot MILF from perhaps the most out of touch state in America just wont cut it…

With that said…a 4 pt lead in the polls isnt something to get overly excited about with a little over 45 days in the election to go. But it does however signify a shift in who is on the defensive.

WIth Palin in the spotlight, Obama had to be on the defensive…

With the economy front and center McCain is the easiest scapegoat…Right or wrong…at this moment in time he is the quintessential poster boy for the notion of keeping the rich richer and letting the poor continue to starve…

Same mentality that had Bush go “eh” when he heard the news about Hurricane Katrina and who it was primarily effecting….

At the end of the day, its one small lead, but if he could build on it and use this mojo to open up a lead in the battleground states going into the debates…Its a step in the right direction…

The Lies Start To Add Up…

http://www.cnn.com/2008/POLITICS/09/13/palin.iraq/index.html?iref=mpstoryview

http://www.nytimes.com/2008/09/13/us/politics/13mccain.html?partner=rssnyt&emc=rss

In a week where we finally start to see the GOP lies starting to be exposed, the latest bombshell is a continuation of the smear campaign the Republican ticket is trying to run on…

Sarah Palin and the Repubs trying to stretch the truth of the extent of her foreign travels…

The same way they have tried to stretch the truth of Obama’s policy in a string of recent ads…

While yesterday McCain received boos while asserting his stance on abortion while on The View. McCain said he believes Roe v Wade was a “very bad decision..” while sitting in a room full of women on The View

Right…

Because that mentality is in touch with the liberties and freedoms of young women across this nation

It’s times like this when I wonder how does this uber-conservative, near facist duo even stand a chance

Frankly, its getting old…

At some point during the next 50 days or so left in this election this thing will have to come down to the issues…

The first debate will hopefully put this thing back on track…

Ed Koch is scared of Palin…Feminists are scared of McCain and Palin…and Matt Damon is even starting to weigh in on the action…

Shit is clearly bad…

Till next time…

Lets See How This Pastor Issue Plays Out…

http://www.cnn.com/2008/POLITICS/09/08/palin.pastor/index.html

Speaking in toungues?

Controversial beliefs in “faith healing” and “end times”?

How is this not being questioned, probed, or even made fun of all over the internet?

I mean it is…but it isn’t

It definitely isn’t being questioned the way rumors of Obama being Muslim or his dealings with Rev. Wright were/are…

And that’s my point…is it a question of, are we as liberals too soft to really exploit and deceive at free will the way the GOP has become accustomed to doing without hesitation?

Or is it a question of race?

Like my friend said the other day “Well she’s not black, so her integrity is not being questioned…”

Or is it a combination of both? These very issues are at the root of so many problems in this America we live in, from Jenna 6 to everyday interactions with law enforcement….

So please feel free to comment…

Republicans Know How To Dance…

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2008/09/04/ap-attacks-praise-stretch_n_123771.html

Well I hope she enjoyed it.

Reading off of a teleprompter can certainly impress the yokels in cowboy hats but as she said her very self, when the stadium lights go out and the cloud of rhetoric has passed, what could she possibly do to lead our nation if/when John McCain were to die as President?

Her subtle jabs at Obama displayed how desperate she was to come out with her fists up and deflect some of the negative attention she has garnered this week. But was it enough?

The main problem with how her speech played out, at least initially at the Convention and right after on CNN, is she is recieving way too much credit for essentially retelling John McCain’s bio, while at the same time attacking Obama. We all know he is a war hero and your a self proclaimed hockey mom but what the fuck does that have to do with what you would do for me if this motherfucker eats one too many steaks and has a heart attack next March???

For someone who spent the greater of her speech convincing us how horrible Obama was, she didn’t do very much to explain what she would do, or what she would be capable of if she herself ended up as President.

I mean you rip Obama for being nothing more than a community organizer, but that community was probably larger than the city she was mayor of.

What Palin did was dance.

She danced around the last 8 years…

Danced around her dysfunctional family…

And she danced around taxes…

When Obama’s economic plan will lower taxes for 80% of Americans, and your up here acting like Republicans cut taxes for the little people, and do all they can for the common man, thats when your argument starts to sound fraudalent…

Republicans know how to dance…

And they get away with it because they play on the fears of middle America.

A middle America so scared of the prospect of having a black President, that they pretend they are actually in the same tax bracket these Republican policies were intended for…

Only time will tell just how effective her speech was, but also how her facts hold up in 29 days when she debates Biden.

Most importantly, the honeymoon is over. Expect the kitchen sink all over again…

Now is not the time to ponder how shit would have been had Obama picked Hillary as VP, as if that wouldnt have brought on a whole host of other issues.

Now is the time to do everything you can to make sure this old fuck doesnt make it to the White House…

Winners and Losers of Summer ’08

Well ladies and gents, another summer is in the books…

Goodbye flip flops and tank tops…

and hello NFL Football and the Christmas Season of 2008

Before we look to the future, lets take a few brief moment to reflect back to some of this past summers biggest winners and losers…for better or for worse…

The Dark Knight

Winner – If this movie wasn’t as good as it really is, it would go down as perhaps the most over hyped piece of shit ever…but with the performance of a lifetime from the late Heath Ledger, and an all around Gotham thrill ride that leaves you thirsty for the already talked about 3rd installment with Johnny Depp playing the Riddle…The Dark Knight truly manages to be the motherfucking shit…

The Instability in the Price of Gas

Loser – For those of us like myself in NYC, this may not have dampened the whole summer, but all across America, the rise in gas put everything from annual road trips to quick weekend getaways in jeopardy. That means kids and parents all over were stuck in the same house for the whole summer left to think of new, fun, and inventive ways to spice up the summer, ie. for most Americans meaning watching lots of television, eating, consuming drugs, masturbating, and surfing the internet…

The Olympics

Winner – Definitely a huge fucking spectacle,  but hey Americans loves a chance to swing their dicks for 2-3 weeks and win a bunch of medals in shit we will forget bout by fall!!! What can i say, humility isn’t found in the Bill of Rights!!! Go Swimming and basketball!!!!

The New York Yankees

Loser – With the biggest payroll in sports and a new stadium opening just next season, the underachieving divas of the sports world have ridden 3rd place for most of the summer…unless they turn it around asap AND win the World Series…essentially another failed season for the boys in pinstripes who set the bar at winning it all each year. But who gives a shit, the inevitable late season comeback ain’t happening this year and besides, the Mets are winning the World Series this year anyway, right?

Election 2008 –

Winner – Love Obama or Hate McCain, or vice versa, but one cannot deny the impact or relevance of this current election. With 2 months to go, expect big things to develop as the Republican regime will probably stoop to any level necessary to paint Obama and the Democratic Party as “arugula loving” softies who are trying to elect a terrorist.

John Edwards –

Loser – Lets just say thank heavens Obama wasnt thinking about tapping Edwards for the VP slot. Fuck Palin’s daughter and her inability to keep her legs closed, Edwards and the supposed love child would have trumped everything!!! This man has managed to pull a one up on Eliot Spitzer cause I think most people could see Spitzer having the potential to be a scumbag…I mean he looooks sleezy…but John Edwards…whew…from choir boy to dog of the week in a heartbeat, Edwards’ stock has fallen faster than that of Wu-Tang or Britney Spears…good luck finding a new gig on craigslist buddy!!!

What Exactly Does a Vice Prez “Do” You Ask?

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2008/08/29/sarah-palin-what-exactly_n_122514.html

Yes, that is exactly the question Mrs. Palin pondered just a month ago…

Here’s a closer look at exactly how informed Palin was of her new job:

“As for that VP talk all the time, I’ll tell you, I still can’t answer that question until somebody answers for me what is it exactly that the VP does every day?”

Add this overwhelming display of classic conservative intelligence to the fact that she, as a woman, opposes rape and incest exceptions for those seeking an abortion under these circumstances, and it looks like McCain’s shot at inspiring all of the female Hillary supporters wary of Obama just might be a dud!

We’ll see how this continues to unfold…
