Something To Take Your Mind Off Of All The Politics…

This is the kind of post dedicated to all those out there who dont give a shit about the election…

Or are bitter that McCain lost…

Go fuck yourself…literally!

P.S. Save the comments about whats morally right or wrong for

But over here? In the real world? Shit is harsh…

So in the words of Eddie Murphy, “Hello! Filth flar’n filth, motherfucker, dick, pussy, snot, and shit. Good night! Suck my dick!!!!”

A Letter To John McCain…

Dear John McCain,

So how does it feel?

The agony of defeat?

That sweet smell of  justice?

Mmm mmm good my friend!!!!

I for one am still in shock.

It’s one thing to want something of this magnitude to happen, but when it does, it can be a bit overwhelming…

I heard your supporters booing last night, and that made me smile.

Nothing like the good ol’ hate train…

That train is never late my friend and this time its a double decker to ensure that your whole base can jump on board.

Now that we are friends, maybe I should be the one to break it to you just how bad you lost…

Virginia, Ohio, Michigan, Pennsylvania, FLORIDA!!!!!

All lost…

To put it in laymans terms, if this was a best of 7, you got swept!

Now there may be a light at the end of your tunnel.

At least you walk away with your respect and dignity…

Unlike your running mate who walks away from this looking like a puppet on a string.

She’s either going to remain Governor, OR ride her 15 minutes of fame straight to the likes of the Tyra Banks Show.

Honestly, I hope she remains Governor.

To have to hear “Dontcha’ know” and “You betcha!” everyday could literally drive me to suicide!!!!

The main point of this letter is to let you know that next time, dont second guess yourself man.

Looking back on the irrational moves made by your campaign, you would have been better off picking Romney, sticking to issues of foreign policy, and nixing the last minute desperation negative ad blitz…

Your a small fraction of a percent better than your fellow conservative constituents.

But to a black man born and raised in Brooklyn that shit could save your life!!!!

Cause if I’m rowing a boat in a river and I see you and Giuliani next to a deflated raft, crying for help?

You survive while his little obnoxious, racist, totalitarian ass drowns…no questions asked!!!

Take care my friend, keep the pills away from Cindy…till next time…

Update #3 – Sorry Giuliani and Fellow Fear Mongers, Apparently It’s Not All About National Security And 9/11, It’s Actually About The Economy…

Well, the buzz on the street is exit polls say the economy is the biggest thing on the mind of these voters.

It’s interesting that in an election that was supposed to be a referendum on the war on terror, that foreign policy is the farthest thing from the central debate.

With the first polls having closed about a half hour ago, we will have somewhat of an idea which direction the election is headed by around 8pm I’d imagine.

I got my eyes on Indiana and Virginia.

As soon as we know it, you’ll know it…

Update #2 – Wet Ballots and Black Panthers

So far I dont have shit to report.

I’m bored at work and ready to get this show on the road.

I have heard a brief buzz of various problems thus far like,  wet ballots that are unreadable, multiple hour long lines, and two Black Panthers intimidating potential voters in Philly…

And to think, the fun is just getting started!!!

Update #1 – Optimistic…But Who Really Knows…

The last polls read a 7pt lead for Obama, similar to the steady lead he has had throughout this epic battle.

However, between the undecided folks, inevitable voting problems, and racism, it might as well be tied in the eyes of Devonte Smith.

Remember, Gore had that same 7pt lead in the final polls and we all know how that story ended.

My biggest fear is that the influx of new voters will cause terribly long lines at the polls which will force many working class folks to come back in the evening which may be worse.

So far, most of my coworkers were able to vote before work without a problem.

I will continue to try to update throughout the day, while at the same time, trying not to get fired!!!

Live from NYC, the last leg of the race…

Well I voted about an hour ago…

Yes, that early. I’m not fucking around. Devonte is a busy motherfucker.

As soon as I get out of that shit hole called work, it gets down to the nitty gritty.

I’m planning to head over to Sean Warbucks’ place and watch as the results come in.

I wont lie, it definitely felt good to support someone I strongly feel is not only ready to be President but puts fear into the hearts of Conservatives around this nation.

Sorry but that’s how I feel.

For the past 8 years, those of us who read, have been on pins and needles as Bush ran this country with about as much recklessness as a game of bumper cars.

So it would only be fitting that the tables turn.

I know those very same people from the video I posted yesterday will shit themselves if Obama wins.

And how does that make us liberals feel?

We’ll fill you in as news develops…

Has The “Silent Majority” Become The “Misinformed Minority” Almost 40 Years Later…

Let us all understand that the question before us is not whether some Americans are for peace and some Americans are against peace. The question at issue is not whether Johnson’s war becomes Nixon’s war.

The great question is: How can we win America’s peace?

It’s interesting to think that on this day, 39 years ago Richard Nixon delivered his famous Silent Majority speech, urging this group he believed to be marginalized by their activist counterparts, to overlook what would appear to be growing dissent towards the Vietnam War, and rally behind the country. (Ahhh, Country First I see..)

Fast forward to today, and you essentially have John McCain asking what I would probably coin the misinformed minority, to do the same, but not only with respect to the military, but in regards to the economy as well.

The difference between trust in ones military, and trust in ones economy is stark.

With the economy, there is no “out of sight, out of mind” sense of security that the government can use to make something appear one way while it is in fact going counter to that belief.

In layman’s terms, if Bush/McCain tells you we are winning the war in Iraq, there is no tangible proof if that is true or not while you sit in your living room in Manhattan.

Where as in the case of the economy, you feel it first hand.

When economy suffers, we suffer, immediately.

It only takes but so long to realize your spending power has decreased in a matter of months.

Now I was born in 1982, so its hard for me to judge the Vietnam War, but the War in Iraq has engulfed the majority of my voting career. So I am not foreign to the idea of a nation leading a group of people into territory they don’t agree with.

Fortunately for us, technology has given us some sort of checks and balances on government and politics. The internet, and thus the blogosphere, has put information into millions and millions of viewers within minutes of it materializing.

Now, take that with a grain of salt, we are all aware that everything in print isn’t credible. But that’s the nature of the beast. I’m sure if hippies had a chance to have Google, they wouldn’t have turned it down on a technicality.

I truly think if this was 1969, John McCain would have this silent majority in his corner enabling him to continue a war that shouldn’t have been waged in the first place. Fear mongering works hand in hand with ignorance. Which is why it doesn’t appear to be working for the most part in this current election.

Love it or hate it, but the media today is a powerful force. While it is proven that many (ignorant) Americans believe Barack Obama is a terrorist Muslim, there are many of those same Americans who believe in Big Foot, and shit like that. So looking past the extremes, I would say on the whole the vast majority has access to, and utilizes, more information than generations before.

No one knows what is going to happen Tuesday. Some conservative blog could be using this exact post on Wednesday morning as banter. I could see the headline already, “The Maverick Prevailed With His Back Against The Wall….”

I personally would like to think that instead, Wednesday will give way to numerous finger pointing from the GOP, a sense of deflation amongst the nation’s racists, and an overwhelming sense of defeat for John McCain…all while Cindy McCain pops pills and guzzles Budweiser at around 10am on a Wednesday morning…

Let’s just hope we should be that lucky.

2 Down…One To Go…

So no gloves came off…

Instead we were just treated to a desperate man trying to put his team in a better position than it was a day prior…but it didnt happen…

This is becoming eerily reminiscent of the primaries…when we saw that once Hillary was aware that Obama actually had a chance to win this thing…there was no way she could hide her disgust nor her sense of entitilement…

Now it’s the same thing…except obviously with the stakes higher…those emotional feelings are that much more intense…

Take a look at this quote from the New York Times editorial piece above:

Mr. McCain’s aides haven’t even tried to hide their cynical tactics, saying they were “going negative” in hopes of shifting attention away from the financial crisis — and by implication Mr. McCain’s stumbling response.

I just don’t get how this is the GOP strategy, at this point in the game…

Shift attention away from the financial crisis???

And do what?? Talk about 9/11 and terrorism…

Come on…not even Rudy Giuliani thinks that is the best strategy…

For someone with such alleged knowledge and experience…it appears his campaign lacks both those qualities…

With one debate to go…and nothing but gameday in the back of both these men’s heads…it will be interesting to see who has the momentum going into Election Day…

And if that momentum will translate into a W…or if this story ends like the 2000 Election…with the wrong kind of Dubya

Palin vs Biden

So the debate is over…

And no Sarah Palin didn’t win…

(Waldorf won – 51% to 36%…by CNN standards…)

Now I have read and heard some quite ridiculous rhetoric that attempts to make a case that by “holding her own”….which is still debatable as far as I am concerned…Palin somehow won…

I don’t know…if you guys are looking at it like that…your definitely not taking into consideration just how close she would be to actually being President given McCain’s age…

I heard one gentleman say…”it doesn’t really matter if the answers are wrong…people like the way Sarah Palin speaks to them…”

Because she says “aww schucks” and “doggone it“?

That’s ridiculous…it really is…sorry…I’m not lowering the standard and essentially the integrity of our nation to that of a high school student body election…

Conservative men like her cause they want to fuck her and conservative women like her cause it likes “Ha! Thats our Hillary!!!”

Well your Hillary is the type of woman who would take pleasure in overturning Roe v. Wade…a monumental piece of legislation, that in the eyes of And This Is My America is about as important as the Internet, Nintendo, or “Happy Hour” has become to our existence…

In other news…perhaps the best thing I have learned about Mrs. Palin is that there has actually been a porno made in her honor with a look a-like!!!!

Yes…Larry Flynt…a real maverick…has boldy taken it where we all wished he would…

I mean if we are going to have to sit through that awful accent we might as well have something tangible to take away from this whole charade…
